I am a member of IATSE - the union for set decoration and props and joined in 2014.
In 2018 I moved to Vancouver, where I work part time on movies/tv shows here.
I studied film and television at Concordia University's Communications Department and made a film called "Water is Falling" which aired on CBC's "Zed" in 2004. I filmed the 2004 Canadian election and released a documentary called "Democracy 4 Dummies" in 2007 which is distributed by the NFB.
In 2009 when I moved to Los Angeles, I began working as a production assistant in the art department and worked on the movie "Horrible Bosses" before moving into set decoration on the Best Picture film "Argo," the "Ray Donovan" pilot, and "Horrible Bosses 2". I worked on two seasons of "The Amazing Race" and traveled to Washington, DC, and Juneau, Alaska which was crazy and fun. I was an assistant prop master on "The Great American Baking Show" and the Nickelodeon kids game show "Webheads", before joining IATSE in 2014 after getting my last days on "The Avengers 2" reshoots.
My first job after joining IATSE was as the assistant prop master on the Blumhouse film "Stefanie", and then I was an on set dresser for season one of "Superstore." I prop mastered two non union films, "Most Likely to Die" and "Her Last Will" which I also licensed songs to! I worked as a props day player on the shows "Stuck in the Middle", "Fresh Off the Boat", "Blackish", "Room 104" and the movie "The House." I got to design an alien for "Room 104" too! I was also a set decoration buyer on the film "Why Him" and the TV shows "One Mississippi", "Son of Zorn" and "Code Black". I worked as a set dresser on the TV shows "The Voice","Strange Angel","The Joel McHale Show" and the Best Picture nominee "Vice."
I moved to Vancouver in 2018, and have since worked on season one of "Wu Assassins" in props, and a pilot called "Woke" in set dressing.
Here are some pictures of work projects and me working!
